Our mission is to serve the citizens of King George County and the Commonwealth by maintaining uniform practices for all elections and providing easy access to both voter registration and the casting of votes within election laws and guidelines.
Our Duties
- Protect the integrity of the electoral process
- Conduct all elections efficiently and under the provisions of Title 24.2 of the Code of Virginia
- Implement the National Voter Registration Act
- Provide on-site registration opportunities to high school students and naturalized citizens
- Maintain accurate voter registration records
- Maintain a continuous professional level of service to the public.
Official Voting Information for King George County
The constitution of Virginia requires that you be registered in the precinct in which you live to be qualified to vote. Current law requires everyone who is voting to have a valid ID.
