2022 Spring Youth Soccer
Early Registration Deadline (Save $11): Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
General Registration Deadline: Wednesday, February 23, 2022.
The KGPR youth soccer program is a competitive recreational coed league. The program focuses on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, defending and teamwork. Practices are conducted twice weekly during the pre-season (before games start). Once the games begin, coaches have the option to practice once or twice per week, depending on the availability of the coach and the availability of the team as a whole. Practices may be held at Barnesfield Park, Ralph Bunche, Cedell Brooks, Jr. Park, Sealston Sports Complex, and Hunter Field on any day Monday-Saturday (varies by coach). The volunteer coaches determine the days and times for practices (no practices before 5:30pm). Uniforms are provided with registration, and they include 2 jerseys (watermelon & blue), socks, and shorts. Season takes place mid-March thru early-June. Each team will play between 8 and 10 games. Age divisions U14 and above will play games outside King George County, including Stafford. Registrations are accepted January 18th – February 23nd on a first-come, first-served basis, and any player that wishes to register after that date will be placed on a waiting list. A $20 late fee will be applied for all registrations accepted after February 23rd.
Coed Age Divisions:
- U6 (4 & 5 year olds) Born in: 2017 or 2016
- U8 (6 & 7 year olds) Born in: 2015 or 2014
- U10 (8 & 9 year olds) Born in: 2013 or 2012
- U12 (10 & 11 year olds) Born in: 2011 or 2010
- U14 (12 & 13 year olds) Born in: 2009 or 2008
- U19 (14-18 year olds) Born in: 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, and 2003
Registration Dates and Cost:
- Early Registration (January 18th – February 1st): $92 (-$10 discount if you already have the uniform)
- General Registration (February 2nd – February 23rd): $103 (-$10 discount if you already have the uniform)

Important Dates:
- Practices Begin: the week of March 14, 2022
- Games Begin: April 2, 2022
- Games End: May 21, 2022 (depending on the weather and the number of cancelations, season may extend to June 4, but that is the absolute latest we will play)
