2024 Spring Youth Soccer

The KGPR youth soccer program is a competitive recreational coed league. The program focuses on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, and teamwork. Practices are conducted twice weekly during the pre-season (before games start). Once the games begin, coaches have the option to practice once or twice per week, depending on the availability of the coach and the availability of the team as a whole. Practices may be held at Barnesfield Park, Ralph Bunche, Cedell Brooks, Jr. Park, or Sealston Sports Complex, on any day Monday-Saturday (varies by coach). The volunteer coaches determine the days and times for practices (no practices before 5:30pm or later than 8:30pm). Uniforms are provided with registration, and they include 2 jerseys, socks, and shorts (save $30 if you already have the blue/gold jerseys from a previous season). The season takes place mid-March through the end of May (June 1 at the latest for makeup games). Each team will play between 7 and 10 games. Age divisions U14 and above may play games outside King George County, including Stafford. Registrations are accepted January 16th – February 20 on a first-come, first-served basis, and any player that wishes to register after that date will be placed on a waiting list. A $20 late fee may be applied for all registrations accepted after February 20th.
Coed Age Divisions:
- U6 (4 & 5 year olds) Born in: 2018 or 2019
- U8 (6 & 7 year olds) Born in: 2016 or 2017
- U10 (8 & 9 year olds) Born in: 2014 or 2015
- U12 (10 & 11 year olds) Born in: 2012 or 2013
- U14 (12 & 13 year olds) Born in: 2010 or 2011
- U19 (14-18 year olds) Born in: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009
Registration Dates and Cost (includes the uniform):
- Early Registration (January 16th – January 31st):
- U6: $105 (-$30 if you have the blue/gold jerseys)
- U8/U10: $125 (-$30 if you have the blue/gold jerseys)
- U12/U14/U19: $135 (-$30 if you have the blue/gold jerseys)
- General Registration (February 1st – February 20th):
- U6: $120 (-$30 if you have the blue/gold jerseys)
- U8/U10: $140 (-$30 if you have the blue/gold jerseys)
- U12/U14/U19: $150 (-$30 if you have the blue/gold jerseys)

Important Dates:
- Practices Begin: the week of March 18, 2024
- Games Begin: April 6, 2024
- Games End: May 23, 2024 (depending on the weather and the number of cancelations, season may extend to June 1, but that is the latest we will play)
