On December 08, 2019 @ 17:17 hrs, Units were dispatched for a residential structure fire. Additional information advised of a shed on fire endangering a structure. RE2 AOS to find a 10x12 shed, well off. RE2 established tactical command and stretched a 1.75" crosslay to side bravo of the structure. 360 revealed no extension to the structure or the wood line. The assignment was held with 1&1 and Battalion 1. Crews quickly knocked down the fire and began opening up. Truck 28 assisted RE2 with overhaul while. Engine 1 continued to the scene and handled cause determination. Fire was extinguished using tank water from RE2. Crews worked for approximately 30 minutes to ensure complete fire extinguishment. Command was terminated and units returned to service when ready at 18:19 hrs.
