[ARCHIVED] PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: King George Department of Social Services Board Meeting

King George County Service Authority Release

On November 13, 2020, Governor Northam announced new measures to Combat COVID-19 which can be found here:  https://www.governor.virginia.gov/media/governorvirginiagov/executive-actions/EO-67-SIXTH-AMENDED-and-Order-of-Public-Health-Emergency-Seven---Phase-Three-Further-Adjusting-of-Certain-Temporary-Restrictions-Due-to-Novel-Coronavirus-(COVID-19).pdf. These new measures include the prohibition of public gatherings of 25 persons or more.

In light of the Governor’s executive order to limit public gatherings, this meeting can not accommodate in-person attendance. Rather, citizens will be afforded opportunities to observe the meeting and provide public comment via phone or online.
