On January 21, 2020, Units were dispatched to an outhouse fire. Units AOS to find a out building fully involved. Building was in the back/side yard of the residence and was surrounded by 4 fences of different types that fire crews had to negotiate to access the building. The building was determined to be a chicken coop with an add on pig pen. In the coop was a supply of animal feed. An undetermined number of chickens died in the fire. The building is a total loss as is the contents. Fire crews utilized approx. 750 gallons of water for extinguishment. No occupants were inside of the building. The owners stated they placed a heat lamp in the building shortly prior to the fire due to the cold temperatures. Command terminated and Units cleared the scene at 18:34 hrs.
