Overview
The Rappahannock Area Alcohol Safety Action Program aims to reduce alcohol and drug-related vehicle fatalities and crashes by decreasing the number of people who are driving under the influence. It's a sub-program under the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program and serves the Fredericksburg area. Completing the training provided by RAASAP is required for all individuals convicted of a DUI. The Policy Board that oversees RAASAP is composed of Board-appointed residents who have a history of working with DUI-convicted individuals.
