Operations Division
The Operations Division is responsible for responding to a wide variety of emergency and non-emergency service requests. Operational staff consists of volunteer and career firefighters and emergency medical services personnel.
Fire Prevention
The Fire Prevention Division is dedicated to protecting the lives and property of the King George County Community. Helping to prevent emergency incidents, lower insurance costs and reduce injuries in King George County.
Training Division
The Training Division develops, coordinates and delivers various training programs for all volunteer and career fire and rescue personnel in King George County. These programs are held at various locations around the County. The Training Division provides a wide range of classroom instruction in conjunction with hands-on practical skills training which is required for employment, promotion, volunteerism and job proficiency.
The Training Division is also responsible for the administration and coordination of new volunteer and employee orientation and training.
Emergency Management Division
The Emergency Management Division utilizes an all-hazards approach to emergency planning and responses, including threats from natural and weather-related disasters such as hurricanes, tropical storms, tornadoes, snow and ice storms, along with man-made or technological emergencies such as major fires, mass casualty incidents, hazardous materials incidents and acts of terrorism.
