Friends of the Smoot Library

The purpose of the Friends shall be to maintain an association of persons interested in the welfare of the Lewis Egerton Smoot Memorial Library, King George, Virginia (hereinafter referred to as the library); to focus public attention on the library; to stimulate the use of the library’s resources and services; to receive and encourage gifts, endowments and bequests to the library; to support and cooperate with the library in developing library services and facilities for King George County.

Join the Friends

If you would like to join the friends, complete the FOSL Membership Application (PDF) and return it with the membership fee to the library during FOSL store hours. Community members can also join the Friends at the bookstore or during larger book sales.
