James Madison Supervisor
Kenneth "Ken" "Cowboy" Stroud is a dedicated Christian, involved citizen and loyal family man. Mr. Stroud holds a degree in business management from Park University, as well as a multitude of notable professional certificates and awards, including his Project Management Professional Certificate and his Business Relationship Management Professional Certificate.
Serving as an officer in the Marine Corps for 23 years during multiple operational conflicts, including Desert Shield, Kosovo, and Operation Iraqi Freedom, Mr. Stroud forged his technical and leadership expertise in challenging and dynamic environments. He was promoted ten times during his career, climbing the ladder from the enlisted rank of private to the officer rank of major. Following his retirement from the military, he moved to King George in 2006 and founded Professional Solutions Delivered (ProSoDel) in 2009, where he currently serves as the owner and chief executive officer. ProSoDel is headquartered out of King George and is a contracting company whose vision is to transform federal operations through technology, training and integrated logistics, and program management. As a serial entrepreneur, he has founded multiple companies in the construction, trucking and service industries.
Mr. Stroud lives on a ranch in King George with his wife, where they raise Black Angus cattle. He enjoys spending time with his two daughters and grandson, who also live in King George, and participating in outdoor activities, such as horseback riding and fishing. Mr. Stroud has also served as the At-Large member of the King George Board of Building and Fire Code Appeals and on the 2020 King George Infrastructure Advisory Committee. He maintains a strong belief in upholding the ethos and values of the residents of King George and forming relationships to bring people together in his service to his community as supervisor for the James Madison District.
