At-Large Supervisor
Mr. David “Sully” Sullins is a native of Alabama and a retired naval officer. He has a Bachelor of Science from the US Naval Academy in marine engineering and master’s degrees from the Naval War College and Old Dominion University in national security and strategy and policy; engineering management; and systems engineering.
Having spent most of his Navy career flying, he came to King George in 2008 where he completed non-flying tours at the Joint Warfare Analysis Center and the Navy Air and Missile Defense Command. Mr. Sullins has worked at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, since 2011 and currently serves as a branch head.
He enjoys learning new things, especially in the areas of leadership and technology. He is passionate about communication, engagement, and protecting our national, state and county resources. Mr. Sullins enjoys sports, flying—a hobby he happily shares with anyone he can—and spending time with his family. His family consists of his wife, Tracy, three wonderful children, and two dogs.
